active and Passive voice രൂപം
നമുക്കറിയാം മൊത്തം 12 ടെൻസുകൾ ആണുള്ളത്.എന്നാൽ ഈ 12 ടെൻസുകളും നമ്മൾ സാധാരണയായി passive voice ൽ ഉപയോഗിക്കാറില്ല. 8 ടെൻസുകളുടെ passive രൂപം മാത്രമാണ് പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നത്.

Simple Present Tense ന്റെ passive voice രൂപം
ആക്റ്റീവ് രൂപം
Subject + Verb + Object (Active Voice)
Ex: She cooks the food. (Active Voice)
(Here ‘she’ is subject, ‘cooks’ is verb and ‘the food’ is object.)
Passive ലേക്ക് മാറ്റുമ്പോൾ
Subject + am /is /are + past participle form of verb( V-3) + by + Agent. (Passive Voice)
(Agent = person or thing which is doing the action,(പ്രവർത്തി ചെയ്യുന്ന വ്യക്തി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വസ്തു)
Ex: The food is cooked by her. (Passive Voice)
(Here ‘The food’ becomes subject in passive voice, ‘cooked’ is V-3 (past participle) of cook, and ‘her’ is agent.
Simple Present Tense ഉള്ള ഒരു active sentence നെ passive ൽ മാറ്റുമ്പോൾ ,

second person ആയ you ആണെങ്കിൽ

third person ആയ he,she,it മറ്റു പേരുകൾ തുടങ്ങിയ ഏകവചനo ആണെങ്കിൽ

Simple present ടെൻസിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായി Present Continuous Tense ന്റെ പാസ്സീവ് വോയ്‌സ് എഴുതുമ്പോൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യം subject കഴിഞ്ഞു auxillary വെർബ് നു ശേഷം being എന്ന രൂപം past participle നു മുൻപായി ചേർക്കുക.

ആക്റ്റീവ് രൂപം
Subject + has/have +past participle of the verb( V-3) +object. (Active Voice)

Passive ലേക്ക് മാറ്റുമ്പോൾ
Subject + has been/ have been +V-3 + by + agent. (Passive Voice)
Ex: The food has been cooked by her. (Passive Voice)
Present Perfect Tense നെ പാസ്സീവ് വോയ്‌സിലേക്കു മാറ്റുമ്പോൾ subject (active voice ലെ object) ഏകവചനമാണോ ബഹുവചനമാണോ എന്ന് നോക്കുക.ഏകവചനമാണെങ്കിൽ has been എന്നും ബഹുവചനമാണെങ്കിൽ have been എന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കുക തുടർന്ന് verb ന്റെ past participle രൂപം ഉപയോഗിക്കുക.

സാധാരണയായി ഒരു ടെൻസിന്റെയും Perfect Continuous Tense ന്റെ പാസ്സീവ് രൂപം ഉപയോഗിക്കാറില്ല
എങ്കിലും അതിന്റെ form എങ്ങനെ എന്ന് നോക്കാം
Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Subject + was/ were + V-3 + by + agent.(Passive Voice)
Ex: The food was cooked by her. (Passive Voice)
സിംപിൾ പാസ്ററ് ടെൻസ് ൽ ഉള്ള ഒരു വാചകം passive form ലേക്ക് മാറ്റുവാൻ ,

പാസ്സിവിലെ subject, singular ആണെങ്കിൽ ആക്ടിവിലെ
didn't എന്നത് was not എന്നും ,
subject,plural ആണെങ്കിൽ ആക്ടിവിലെ didn't എന്നത് were not എന്നും ആയി മാറുന്നു.
Active:They didn't let him go
Passive:He was not let go by them.
Active:She didn't win the prize.
Passive:The prize was not won by her.
Active:They didn't make their beds.
Passive:Their beds were not made by them.

Present Perfect Tense നെ പാസ്സീവ് വോയ്‌സിലേക്കു മാറ്റുമ്പോൾ subject (active voice ലെ object) ഏകവചനമാണോ ബഹുവചനമാണോ എന്ന് നോക്കുക.ഏകവചനമാണെങ്കിൽ has been എന്നും ബഹുവചനമാണെങ്കിൽ have been എന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കുക തുടർന്ന് verb ന്റെ past participle രൂപം ഉപയോഗിക്കുക.
